200,000+ students studying abroad, all with unique backgrounds and needs.

In this session, we’ll take on the topic of mobility and access, and question whether we’re doing enough—as advisors—to support students from various physical and cognitive backgrounds to study abroad.

Learning Objectives:

Take inventory on the current ‘state of the field’ when it comes to mobility/accessibility advising with students.
Determine if EA professionals are doing enough to consider mobility/access (both physical and cognitive) in program development/study abroad opportunities.
Suggest methods to reduce assumptions and improve access for students with disabilities and/or physical mobility concerns in study abroad.
