Rachel Scholten is the Director of International Admission at Loyola University Maryland, and the President of the Maryland International Education Consortium/Study Maryland. She is a former NAFSA Academy Coach and volunteered as the Region VIII IEM Liaison. She has held positions in IEM at four universities and worked with international students from all corners of the world at all levels of study. Ms. Scholten holds a bachelor degree in sociology from University of Pittsburgh, a master's degree in international development from Ohio University, and is a Ph.D. student in Comparative and International Development Education at University of Minnesota.
